The are some of the questions NMPO can answer with the module (municipal) solid waste of the program NMPO Waste Collection.

This program calculates the optimal collection areas based on a large number of parameters that can be set upto container level. The parameters are; type of waste, density, average weight, type of container and type of waste collection vehicle (rear loader, side loader).

All types of solid waste collection (biodegradable waste, paper, plastic, clothing and recyclable wastes) can be calculated with this program. Unique for our planning programs is the possibility to calculate a range of collection options (from strategic planning to day-to-day and vehicle routes). The program is created to calculate different options very fast. All routes are supported by turn-by-turn routing instructions therefore it’s no longer necessary to hand-draw your routes.

It is very easy to get an insight in the required amount of routes and vehicles with this software. This is very helpful in case of a public procurement. .



After optimisation you are only one click away from the waste calendar. In the calendar the collection dates are mentioned per waste type and address. The program is suitable for mailings to citizens, for example if a collection system is about to change.



For all optimised routes NMPO can calculate a full routing and export these routes to a navigation system. The driver can select his route in the navigation system and he will be guided through his route. A driver unfamiliar to the neighbourhood can switch routes really easy.
